Belayim Petroleum Company (Petrobel) is bringing in a new fire truck “Fahd”, which has the most advanced technology in the fire fighting department in the oil and gas industry in Egypt,  Egypt Oil & Gas reports.

The achievement was announced in order to fulfill the Ministry of Petroleum’s vision regarding enhancing the health, safety and environment (HSE) and preventing any accidents during the oil and gas manufacturing process.

The truck was received on June 30 and is considered to be one of a kind in Egypt due to its enhanced technology as it has special capabilities of heat endurance and instant dealings with fires.

Petrobel has received two trucks and is still expecting another two by the beginning of 2020, after contracting with one of the biggest fire trucks’ manufacturing companies in the world.

The petroleum sector believes in the crucial importance of investing in the human cadres along with ensuring their safety, based on that and as a part of the development program, it established a promising plan of enhancing the employees’ and the youth competencies.
