The Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources represented by Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS) approved to extend the agreement of SDX company in South Disouq concession for two years.

SDX recorded 50-51 million standard cubic feet equivalent per day (mmscfe/d) from its South Disouq concession by the end of September exceeding production guidance for 2020 of 47-49 mmscfe/d.

SDX’s South Disouq and West Gharib production in H1 2020 exceeded the company’s 2020 guidance with 6,980 barrels of oil equivalent per day (bbloe/d), noting a 97% increase than H1 2019.

SDX Energy company said that gross plateau production at South Disouq is expected to be maintained at 50 million standard cubic feet per day (mmscf/d) for more 18-24 months until mid-2030 with the probability to be extended to mid-2026 depending on the results of planned future exploration drilling.
