Sohag Governor, Ayman Abdel Moneim, announced in his speech at the Biogas Technology Production conference held in Sohag, that the governorate is currently studying the feasibility of including biogas as one of its energy sources, reported Almal. According to Abdel Moneim, the alternative fuel will be used in various villages, small towns and centers. “Currently, we are studying the possibility of effective implementation of biogas units to serve low-income people and provide many job opportunities,” said Abdel Moneim. A feasibility study will be submitted to the governor within the week.
